Submissions

First, thank you for considering to perform at Moscow Comedy Fest!  Our organizers are working hard to make this a top tier event, not just for our community but for the Comics!

You must submit a link to your material or you will not be considered (see FAQ).

There are no refunds on the application fee.  Please don't ask.

Format:  20 comics split into 2 groups.  After the first round we cut half from each group.  Semi Finals have 10 comics, we cut half again.  Finals will have 5 comics compete for prizes. (see FAQ)

As long as you are in the competition your room will be paid for.  We are assuming everyone will arrive the day before the Fest (Wednesday) and perform on Thursday.  Everyone's rooms are covered Wednesday and Thursday.  If you advance your room will continue to be paid for.

Each comic will be given a complimentary Event Pass to see all shows

If you are not selected to advance to the next round, the room fee will be on your own if you choose to stay.  The hotel will provide you with a discounted rate.

Moscow Idaho is very easy to get to!  We have a direct flight into our local airport (PUW) from Seattle (SEA).  The host hotel, Best Western Plus University Inn, also has a shuttle that will pick you all up. Or you can fly into Spokane (GEG) and rent a car at your expense.  Car rentals are fairly cheap out here.  Moscow is a beautiful area to explore and is about 80 miles south of Spokane.

The prize pool is $5,000!  $3,000 for first place, $1,250 for second and $750 for third.

Your judges are industry experts, bookers and agents.  You will get work from this event if you perform well.  GOOD LUCK!
